About us
The Admiral Cunningham has been part of our family for over 50 years — first as loyal locals, and for the last 30 as the people behind the bar.
Barry and Teresa started out as market traders before a chance meeting in 1996 brought them to The Admiral Cunningham. What began as an unexpected opportunity has become a lifelong passion, with sons Shane and Harry now helping run the operation day to day, and George keeping the building in shape behind the scenes.
None of it would be possible without our team. Over 40 brilliant people — many of whom have been with us for more than a decade — are the real heart of this place. They’re the reason our guests keep coming back.
Thirty years on, we’re proud to still be a proper, family-run local.
